The Patina Collection is full of organic textured paintings immersed in connection and curiosity.

I hope this collection inspires you to slow down in this fast-paced season and find unexpected beauty in your life.

Each painting in The Patina Collection embodies a moment in your life when you discovered unforeseen beauty...

When you find peace in that first sip of morning coffee.

I am so proud of this collection. These paintings came from a place deep within and now it's time for them to shine in the world, inspiring connection & curiosity.

I've never been the best at putting my thoughts into words. I know exactly what I want to say but I struggle with finding the right words. Words don't come naturally to me. That's why I have fallen so in love with the process and rituals I've created in my art practice. Because painting comes naturally to me. Painting is my form of communication.

Before I started painting The Patina Collection I had a faint vision of what I wanted these paintings to look like. Boy, did they surpass my expectations. I knew I wanted to create a collection of paintings that embodied natural elements and the concept of slowing down and finding unexpected beauty. You deserve that reminder; we all do.

The title of this collection stemmed from the definition of patina: a surface appearance of something grown beautiful especially with age or use. Weathered and worn objects may be easily overlooked. I wanted to create symbolic & visual reminders that beauty may be right in front of your eyes. You just need to slow down, quiet your mind, and find beauty in the unexpected.
