Tour the studio
where organic paintings slowly form during quiet moments of life.
Welcome to my art studio.
This sacred space is tucked away in the basement of our home. My husband worked hard to make my studio feel warm and welcoming, despite the lack of natural light, and it has become my favorite studio I’ve had to date.
Having a studio at home allows me to paint in the quiet moments of the day, which is during nap time or in the early morning/ late evenings when my babes are sleeping. The space is filled with many treasures - secondhand pieces, antiques, and dried florals, which keep me inspired even during the cold Pennsylvania winter months.
I feel incredibly grateful to have a space dedicated to my craft. Being an artist is my calling, and making my best work begins in a studio where I can settle in and create. This may not be my dream studio, but I’m a big believer in working with what you have and making the most of it. With a little creative intention, any space can become beautiful. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the before photo below!
This is a season of life I know I’ll cherish forever - watching my babies grow while creating art in the quiet moments while they sleep.
before & after
It’s an honor to create these paintings here, knowing they will go on to become part of the homes and stories of the collectors who welcome them in.
